INEC appoints Adelusi as Ondo Administrative Secretary

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced the appointment of Temitayo Victoria Adelusi as the new Administrative Secretary in Ondo State. This move comes after the redeployment of the current incumbent, Adenike Tadese, to Lagos State. The decision was disclosed on Monday afternoon during a farewell ceremony held by INEC officials in Ondo State to mark Tadese's departure.

Dr Mutiu Agboke, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, led the event and highlighted Tadese's professionalism, experience, and significant contributions to the Commission throughout her tenure in Ondo State. Agboke commended Tadese, calling her one of the finest Administrative Secretaries he has worked with, and urged her to maintain the professional values that had earned her recognition.

INEC's Head of Legal Services, Stella Dike, also praised Tadese's meticulous and thorough administrative approach, praising her kindness and calm disposition, which will be missed by the Ondo office staff. Tadese, in her response, expressed gratitude for her career with INEC, acknowledging that the transfer was unexpected. She thanked Agboke for their cordial working relationship and the support of her colleagues during her one-year stay in Ondo State.
