IIT Kharagpur’s online postgraduate and certificate courses on AI; here’s the list

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has recently introduced a series of postgraduate certificate courses in Artificial Intelligence (AI) through an online platform. These courses cater to graduates and working professionals aiming to enhance their skills and stay updated with the fast-paced technological advancements.

The list of postgraduate AI certificate courses offered by IIT Kharagpur includes:

1. Gen AI and Agentic AI Executive Post Graduate Certificate (EPGC)

2. Applied AI & ML

3. Technology and AI Leadership

4. AI - Native Software Engineering

5. Applied Data Science & Agentic AI

6. Professional Certificate Programme in FinTech & AI

Each course is delivered by IIT Kharagpur's Department of Computer Science & Engineering or Department of Artificial Intelligence. The courses are designed to be completed within an 8-month period, with a total fee of Rs 1,99,000 and a seat booking amount of Rs 10,000. The monthly EMI option is available at Rs 6,825 or Rs 6,500, depending on the course.

The eligibility criteria vary for each course, with most requiring graduates with a minimum of 50% marks, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the technology field, or professionals with relevant work experience. Certain courses also have specific eligibility requirements for candidates from other disciplines.

Upon completion of these programs, candidates will have the opportunity to attend an on-campus award ceremony to receive their certificates from the programme director and institute leadership.
