On Saturday night, during a sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden, Harry Styles dedicated a moment to Oscar Belgal, a man who was shot by ICE in the Bronx, New York City. Belgal's 5-year-old son was in the backseat of the car when he was targeted by ICE officers. Styles, playing guitar, asked the audience to "look after each other" and remember Belgal's story.
Belgal's wife, Jessica S. Tisch, stated that at least seven rounds were fired by ICE officers after Belgal's vehicle began moving forward. The mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, condemned the incident, calling it an "outrage" and questioning the motives and actions of ICE agents who fired into a car with a 5-year-old child inside.
