Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has criticized the midfield partnership of Youri Tielemans and Kobbie Mainoo, arguing that their lack of dynamism is unsuitable for the Premier League. The duo were seen playing their usual role in Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur. Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast after the match, Neville shared his thoughts on the midfield duo.
"I think they don’t quite knit together or don’t quite suit each other," he said, adding that they need more energy and dynamism to perform at the club's level. The next fixture for Manchester United is a Champions League game against Atletico Madrid, which is scheduled for Tuesday.
