Down Memory Lane, the cherished Sing-Along concert series that premiered in 1997, is scheduled to return for its momentous 20th edition on Saturday, October 17th, at the picturesque Bolgoda Grand Resort in Moratuwa town centre. Having marked its remarkable 25th anniversary in 2023, this significant 20th concert is poised to be even more memorable.

The organizers, the beloved Moratuwa Arts Forum, are going above and beyond to deliver an evening filled with unity, friendship, and pure sentimental value. Anticipate an exhilarating two-and-a-half-hour performance as veteran vocalists from the Moratuwa Arts Forum take center stage to guide and spur the enthusiastic audience to sing to their heart's content.

The selection? Absolutely enchanting, according to the organizers. Veteran Arun Dias Bandaranaike will oversee the evening's proceedings, while Priya Peiris conceptualized the event. Around 40 classic tunes - ranging from timeless English classics and hits from the 50s to the 90s, to lively calypsos, soulful American plantation melodies, energetic cowboy and Dixieland favorites, as well as cherished Sinhala standards - will be performed with great enthusiasm.

This year's organizing committee consists of Brian Coorey (Chairman), Priya Peiris (Event Conceptor), Hiran Fernando, Suranga Fernando, Viranjan Perera, Hemka Fernando, and Neelesh Silva. Guidance and support are provided by Moratuwa Arts Forum President Sarana Guneratne and Secretary Chandani Silva. Arun Dias Bandaranaike, as the Master of Ceremonies, brings his unique charisma to the evening.
