On October 11, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued statements condemning the Houthis' attack. Despite their near-identical messages, the two leaders came from different political backgrounds and had no diplomatic relations. Both Shehbaz and Netanyahu condemned the violence against civilians and called for a safer, more stable Middle East.
Shehbaz emphasized Pakistan's commitment to Saudi Arabia and its security arrangements, while Netanyahu framed the attack as a regional security challenge, calling for international cooperation.
