Batik Air cancels Jeddah flight after latest Houthi attack on Riyadh airport

Batik Air has cancelled its flight to Saudi Arabia tonight due to a precautionary measure following the attack on Riyadh's international airport. The airline emphasized that passenger and crew safety remain its top priority. Flight OD701, scheduled for 7.25pm, was cancelled as a precautionary measure. Batik Air is monitoring the situation and coordinating with aviation authorities to assess the impact on flight operations.

The airline stated that affected passengers have been rescheduled to the next available flight and encouraged to check their official website and social media for updates. The Riyadh airport has been attacked three times in a week by Iran-backed Houthis, with the latest attack leaving about 12 people dead and over 300 wounded.
