Apple's all-new HomeView smart home hub leaked ahead of tomorrow's event — alongside new Apple 4K TV and HomePod mini 2
Apple's 'Welcome Home' event is taking place tomorrow, and thanks to an exhaustive leak, we now know exactly what to expect.
Tomorrow, Apple is poised to unveil its latest hardware offerings at the highly anticipated Welcome Home event. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the centerpiece of the announcement is the all-new HomeView smart home hub, designed to unify Apple's smart home ecosystem. This innovative product, which Gurman describes as the key that will "close the biggest hole in its ecosystem," will serve as a fusion of an iPad and a HomePod, delivering an all-encompassing control center for smart home devices.
In addition to the HomeView, the event will also spotlight updates to the Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini. The revamped Apple TV 4K, set to replace its nearly four-year-old predecessor, will house the powerful A17 Pro chip, an 8GB RAM boost, and support for cutting-edge technologies like Apple Intelligence, Siri AI, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.
As for the HomePod mini, it is expected to receive a much-needed refresh, retaining its familiar design while introducing new colors and bolstered internals. An S10 chip, similar to the one found in the Apple Watch Series 10, will power the new HomePod mini 2.
