APC accuses Atiku of abandoning statesmanship over first-name reference to Tinubu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has criticized former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar for referring to President Bola Tinubu by his first name, "Bola". The APC council argues that Atiku's conduct has failed to uphold the decorum expected of a former Vice President and someone seeking the presidency.

Atiku has repeatedly called Tinubu by his first name and described his administration as a "Yahoo Yahoo" government, accusing it of dishonesty. The APC council has expressed its displeasure in a statement, emphasizing the importance of maintaining civility in political engagement. Despite the criticism, the APC council urged its members and supporters to respect Atiku's former position and status as a presidential candidate.
