Access Women Network Partners Evolve Charity Trust to Support Schoolgirls Across 12 Nigerian States.

Access Women Network (AWN) has joined forces with Evolve Charity Trust to support schoolgirls in 12 Nigerian states through the distribution of essential supplies to students in 17 schools. This initiative aims to empower young girls and provide them with the resources they need to succeed in their education. The program will benefit students in Lagos, Abuja, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Kaduna, Kano, Imo, Kogi, Anambra, Delta, Osun, and Edo States.

The first leg of the initiative in Lagos is scheduled for October 14, 15, and 30, 2026, alongside activities at participating schools in other locations. By providing uniforms, sandals, books, pens, and school bags, Access Women Network and Evolve Charity Trust seek to alleviate financial pressures on parents and create a more supportive learning environment for girls from families facing economic challenges.

Iyabo Soji-Okusanya, Executive Director of Access Bank plc, emphasized the importance of empowering girls through education, stating that Access Women Network is committed to promoting women's empowerment and creating opportunities for young people to reach their full potential. Godwin Ejeh, the Project Director of Evolve Charity Trust, added that the initiative reflects the NGO's belief in the transformative power of investing in girls' education, ultimately creating stronger communities and a brighter future for all.
