Abu Dhabi Big Ticket: 4 Indian expats in UAE, one from Oman, win Dh1.95 million

In Abu Dhabi, four Indian expats from the UAE and one from Oman have collectively won Dh1.95 million in consolation prizes from Big Ticket's Series 291. The primary winner, Sunil Kumar, secured Dh1 million with ticket number 098059, expressing his delight at the life-changing turn of events. Kulwant Singh, a 53-year-old truck driver hailing from Punjab, claimed Dh500,000, which will be shared among his group of five friends.

Muhammed Ijas C., a 30-year-old engineer from Kerala, won Dh100,000, marking the prize's division among 10 participants. Setvan Kumar Chauhan, also originally from India, matched the Dh100,000 win, while Ajith Kumar Vannarath, a 54-year-old document controller living in Oman for ten years, secured Dh250,000. Despite his decade-long participation in Big Ticket, Ajith's family previously resided with him in Oman before their relocation.

He first encountered the lottery through acquaintances and friends, regularly purchasing tickets with a group of ten people. Upon the recent draw, the group opted for a random selection, which ultimately resulted in their Dh250,000 win. Ajith expressed his overwhelming joy, stating that the news was a wonderful feeling, marking their continuous efforts in the pursuit of this life-altering victory.

The prize will be shared among the group, and while Ajith has not yet disclosed his plans for his share, he and his fellow expats are eager for more thrilling experiences ahead.
