2027: Kogi APC chieftain mobilises support for Tinubu, others

In Kogi State, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain named Alex Ali has urged intensified grassroots mobilisation before the 2027 general elections. Ali expressed confidence in the party's prospects, citing their focus on securing votes across the state for various elections, including presidential, senatorial, House of Representatives, and state House of Assembly races.

He emphasized the importance of engaging with voters, particularly the youth, to ensure the APC's success. Ali praised Governor Usman Ododo's leadership and the various initiatives undertaken by the administration, such as the establishment of a military barracks in Anyigba and ongoing projects in health and education sectors, which have bolstered public trust.

He also highlighted the party's efforts to pay salaries regularly, invest in security, and curb political violence, which could positively impact the campaign. Ali identified notable contenders like Chief Joseph Ameh Erico for the senatorial race and other APC aspirants with relevant experience, urging party members and supporters to continue engaging with communities to communicate the government's achievements and address local concerns.
