Los Angeles Lakers' Sandro Mamukelashvili, a versatile sixth-year forward, is thrilled to play alongside NBA stars Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves. During the team's preseason game against the Sacramento Kings, the Georgian native recorded 19 points, three rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a blocked shot. Mamukelashvili expressed his excitement about the numerous open shots he expects to receive due to Doncic's and Reaves' defensive focus on the ball-hogging superstar.
He also praised his teammates' ability to move the ball efficiently, stating that it makes it easier for shooters. The Lakers signed Mamukelashvili to a four-year contract in the offseason, and he is now the team's primary backup big man. Head coach JJ Redick believes Mamukelashvili can fit into any lineup and has enjoyed creating plays that take advantage of his skills.
