US President Makes Blunt Admission About His Election Campaign [Video]

In a recent rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, US President Donald Trump bluntly admitted that his supporters would still applaud him even if he uttered the "stupidest things." During the event, the president reflected on the enthusiastic reception he receives from his crowds, as evidenced by the audience's laughter and applause. Trump emphasized the warmth of the atmosphere at his rallies, stating, "There is such love in these rooms."

Following the admission, Trump defended the content of his speeches, asserting that they were rooted in common sense rather than conservative politics. "But we don't say the stupidest things. We say things of common sense. We say things that make sense," he declared. The president argued that several of his political priorities, such as border security, lower taxes, and a robust military, were matters of common sense.

He explained, "We want to have a border, we want to have low taxes, we want to have a great military," adding that these were the types of things that made sense to ordinary Americans.

Trump's appearance in Tennessee was to support Republican candidates Marsha Blackburn, who is seeking the governorship, and Senator Bill Hagerty, who is also running for governor. The president questioned the necessity of his campaign in a state where the Republican candidates were already performing well, claiming he had come to express gratitude to his supporters.
