Texans’ David Montgomery groin injury adds more concerns to Houston’s 0-4 start

Houston Texans have begun their season with a dismal 0-4 record, a scenario few foresaw at the start of the year. The team boasts a formidable defense and hopes that quarterback C.J. Stroud can finally deliver on his potential, following two underwhelming seasons since his highly acclaimed rookie campaign. Moreover, the Texans acquired David Montgomery during the off-season, expecting him to contribute significantly to the offense.

However, the team has been plagued by injuries, particularly on the offensive side, since the beginning of the season. The departure of Jayden Higgins and the presence of Tank Dell on the injured reserve list have further compounded the issue.

Now, Houston is facing an additional challenge with the departure of running back David Montgomery due to a groin injury. The injury has ruled him out for the remainder of the game against the Tennessee Titans. Despite Montgomery's absence, the Texans are currently leading 19-3 against a struggling Titans team.
