Actress Tanishaa Mukerji, sister of Kajol, took to social media to decry the "blind hate" shown by some well-educated Hindus towards the nation. In a post on X on October 11, she called on admirers of countries like the UK and the US to stop criticizing India. Acknowledging that India has its share of issues, Tanishaa urged people to think independently and not let media narratives control their thoughts.
She criticized those who support the government as "uneducated" while those opposing it as "progressive." Tanishaa's comments came amid protests against the Chief Election Commissioner and criticism of the central government.
