Pereira coach Plinio Cruz rips into Chase DeMoor after Misfits win: ‘Your time is up, Pinocchio’

London, October 10 - After a victory in the heavyweight fight during the Misfits Fight Night, Alex Pereira's coach Plinio Cruz expressed his desire to fight Chase DeMoor's coach, Gary Olive, to face the Misfits boxer himself. Cruz and DeMoor had previously been scheduled for two fights, but both were canceled. DeMoor withdrew just days before their match, citing an eye injury, while his coach Gary Olive stepped in and was defeated by Plinio Cruz in four minutes, resulting in a second-round TKO win.

Cruz called for another DeMoor bout after his victory. "Pinocchio, because he lies and his nose grows," Plinio said in the ring. "First of all, props to Gary – he boxes better than Chase. He didn’t have the balls to be in his coach’s corner. What kind of champ is that, he can’t even back up his family." Cruz continued, "You don’t have boxing skills.

You don’t have swag. You don’t have no mojo. Come here bro, I’m going to whup your f–king ass. Chama!" DeMoor did not attend the Misfits Boxing event but responded to Cruz via Twitter. "I’m embarrassed for you," DeMoor wrote. "But good fight I guess." Cruz posted images of their exchange on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "I’m embarassed for you.

But good fight I guess." He added, “You’re a loud ass p–sy. Come fight then, stop hiding behind a video with make up on your face, be a man at least once in your life and come fight me.” Cruz further roasted DeMoor, questioning his internet reputation and his decision to avoid fighting a 70-year-old man. Cruz concluded, "Your time is up, Pinocchio. NO CHAMA."
