People-loving Autumn is ready for a new home

Autumn, a vibrant and affectionate beagle, is now seeking a new forever home as he prepares for the arrival of shorter days and cooler weather. This lovable canine, standing at 11 kilograms, exudes warmth and joy, even in the face of life's challenges. Recently, Autumn found himself in the care of Animal Refuge Kansai (ARK) after his family underwent a difficult life transition that left him without a stable environment.

Despite his age of almost 14 and the silver strands around his muzzle, Autumn remains full of life and zest for living. His boundless energy keeps him trim and ready for playtime, eagerly awaiting his leash when it appears. Autumn's enthusiasm is infectious, as evidenced by his whole body shaking with delight at the sight of a leash.

Being a social butterfly, Autumn thrives on human interaction, displaying perplexity when left alone. "We're friends, aren't we?" he inquires, longing for companionship. Autumn's love for people extends to his adoration of food, consuming his meals with gusto and leaving nothing to waste. With his silver-hued face and expressive eyes, Autumn is an irresistible sight and a true star in the animal adoption world.

To welcome Autumn into your home, email ARK at [email protected] or call 050-1557-2763 (English or Japanese) from Monday to Saturday. As an NPO founded by U.K. native Elizabeth Oliver, ARK is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals, ensuring all pets are vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Prospective owners must undergo a screening process to determine compatibility.
