José Ramírez has big moment for Guardians with home run on pitch just above home plate
Cleveland Guardians' José Ramírez delivered a crucial home run in the midst of a challenging season, lifting his team to the AL Championship Series. Ramírez, who had struggled throughout the regular season, responded with a two-run homer in the fourth inning of Game 5 against the Chicago White Sox, propelling Cleveland to victory.
The home run, struck on a pitch just above the home plate, marked Ramírez's sixth career postseason home run and tied him with Albert Belle for the third-most in franchise history. With the help of a strong season-ending performance, Ramírez aims to build on his recent success in the AL Championship Series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
