The National Football League boasts many dynamic downfield playmakers, but Cincinnati Bengals' Ja’Marr Chase stands among the elite. This season alone, Chase has displayed extraordinary talent in the passing game. Recently, during a Week 5 game against the Miami Dolphins, Chase demonstrated just how exceptional his abilities are.
With the Bengals trailing by 7 points in a 2nd-and-7 situation near midfield, quarterback Joe Burrow found Chase and lofted a deep pass in his direction. Chase deftly out-leaped the defender, twisted his body to catch the ball, and sprinted into the end zone for a touchdown. Witness the impressive play here, and hear the astonishment in the announcer's voice: JA MARR CHASE ARE YOU SERIOUS @CINvsMIA on FOX/FOX One Stream on @NFLPlus.
The play is truly deserving of a "Catch of the Year" title, and Chase's incredible athleticism shines week after week.
