Dubai Parks and Resorts reopens with new attractions and live shows

Dubai Parks and Resorts has resumed operations following an extended closure, introducing fresh attractions and live performances for visitors. On October 7, the destination welcomed guests back to its flagship attractions, including Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, Legoland Dubai Resort, and The World of Riverland. Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, revealed that the company tailors its offerings to customer feedback, which informs decisions about new attractions, live entertainment, and dining options.

At Riverland, the destination’s entertainment hub, 14 new activities have been added, encompassing bowling, Lamborghini racing simulators, go-karting, archery, axe-throwing, and mini-golf. Motiongate Dubai will also debut new live shows complementing its Hollywood-themed attractions. Real Madrid World invites enthusiasts to hone their football skills, take penalties, play basketball, and compete against fellow guests.

T-Rex Glamping, a dinosaur-themed camping experience, will also make a return, offering visitors themed tents and animatronic dinosaurs with lifelike features.

Eiroa emphasized the importance of making the stay itself a form of entertainment, extending beyond park visits. The company is also refreshing concerts, restaurants, and cultural offerings at Global Village ahead of its new season. Dubai's burgeoning reputation as an entertainment destination, bolstered by its existing strengths in hotels, restaurants, and hospitality, draws comparisons to Orlando and Los Angeles, fostering increased international travel to the UAE.

Domestic visitors remain critical, though the balance between local and international tourists fluctuates across the group’s destinations. Dubai Holding Entertainment seeks to promote bundled experiences, inviting visitors to explore multiple attractions in a single trip.
