Are Bijan and Brian Robinson related? Explaining Falcons RB duo confusing NFL fans
Here's the story about Bijan and Brian Robinson.
The Atlanta Falcons' running back duo, Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson, have been causing confusion among NFL fans due to their similar last names, despite not being related. Bijan Robinson, the top running back in the league, recently signed a long-term extension and is on track for another 1,400-yard season. Brian Robinson Jr., the team's journeyman backup, has also thrived in his role.
Both Robinsons are from Alabama, with Bijan hailing from Tucson, Arizona, and attending the University of Texas, while Brian attended the University of Alabama. Their shared position and team status has led to numerous instances of misidentification in fantasy football and humorous jokes among fans. The confusion appears unlikely to end anytime soon as long as the Robinsons remain on the same team, but this is not a concern for the Falcons, who have a dominant running game.
