Amitabh Bachchan wasn’t an ‘easy boyfriend’, Jaya saw ‘danger’: ‘Introverted, hypersensitive’

In 1999, Jaya Bachchan revealed that Amitabh Bachchan was not an easy boyfriend. Jaya first met Amitabh on the set of Guddi during her time at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Initially, she found him "strange" due to his habit of staring at her, which she perceived as intimidating. However, she later realized that this behavior was "unconscious" and did not intend to intimidate people.

Jaya confessed that while she enjoyed his company, she felt he was "introverted and hypersensitive," making him "not an easy boyfriend." Despite this, she allowed him to have authority over her life because he could "dictate" things to her.
