In a touching Instagram post, Mahieka took the audience on a journey tracing Hardik's transformation from a budding cricketer in Baroda to a prominent all-rounder representing India.
Mahieka's note shed light on the early struggles Hardik encountered, recounting his beginnings as primarily a batter. Despite pouring his energy into cricket since his teen years, securing a spot in the team proved to be a challenging journey. Mahieka highlighted that Hardik's path to selection was fraught with difficulties, as he did not always conform to the usual expectations of players.
One of the most intriguing aspects of Mahieka's tribute was her revelation about Hardik's unexpected transformation into an all-rounder. Initially, Hardik aspired to become a prolific batter.
