It was a dramatic Saturday as Vinicius Junior received a red card during the Real Madrid vs Villarreal match, which could potentially rule him out of El Clásico against Barcelona on October 25. The Brazilian scored a goal for Real Madrid in the 73rd minute, but he was sent off for pulling Nathan Dylan-Saliba's hair and continued to protest aggressively towards the referee.
Vinicius could face a ban of more than one match, depending on the severity of his behavior. Real Madrid managed to secure a 1-0 victory over Villarreal, with Diomandé scoring the winning goal. Elsewhere, Barcelona continued their perfect record with a 3-0 win over Getafe, while Vallecas erupted in protest due to poor conditions at the club and Raul Martin Presa's management. Alavés lost 1-2 against Atlético de Madrid, with Baena scoring the winning goal in the 87th minute.
