Which mini Xteink ereader should you buy? I've compared its 4 models
The Xteink X4 Classic, X4 Pro, and X3 all have their advantages, and the upcoming Xteink S4 sounds promising too, so which should you buy?
When considering which Xteink ereader to purchase, there are four models to consider: the Xteink S4, X4 Pro, X4 Classic, and X3. Each model has its own unique features, specifications, and price points.
The Xteink S4 is the newest addition to the Xteink lineup, currently only available in China. It features a 4.3-inch, 219ppi display, a 1,400mAh battery, and runs on Android 11 with front lighting for reading in low-light conditions. However, it is not yet available globally, and its price has not been announced yet.
In comparison, the Xteink X4 Classic, X4 Pro, and X3 are all available directly from Xteink and third-party stores like Amazon, with shipments to various parts of the world. Among these three models, the Xteink X3 is the smallest and lightest at 97.6 x 63.7 x 5.1mm and 58g. The Xteink X4 Classic is slightly larger but slimmer at 114 x 69 x 4.9mm and 68g, while the Xteink X4 Pro is the largest of the three at 111 x 69 x 5.95mm and 72g.
The Xteink X4 Pro and Xteink S4 both have touchscreens and front lighting, while the Xteink X3 and Xteink X4 Classic rely on buttons for navigation. The Xteink S4 and X4 Pro allow users to read without the need for external light sources, whereas the Xteink X3 and Xteink X4 Classic lack this feature.
