Teboho Mokoena and Iqraam Rayners stole the show as the Brazilians lifted the season-opening competition.
Mamelodi Sundowns secured their first MTN8 title since 2021 by defeating Orlando Pirates 2-0 at Moses Mabhida Stadium. The decisive goal came from substitute Teboho Mokoena, who scored a penalty in stoppage time after being fouled by Khulumani Ndamane.
