Second FIR In Pune MPSC Protest Row; 5 Booked For Flying Drone Without Permission

Pune police have registered a second FIR against five individuals, including Vishrambaug police commissioner Shivraj More, for allegedly flying a drone without permission during the CJP leader Abhijit Dipke and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut's visit. The incident occurred on October 5 at SM Joshi Bridge in Navi Peth. Police head constable Yuvraj Bharat Tele noticed the drone and traced it back to photographer Digambar Bharat Khare, who was allegedly operating it without authorization.

Khare told police he did not have permission from the local authorities, stating he was filming on the instructions of More, Pramod Patil, Hrishikesh Gangurde, and Akshay Kamble. The police seized a DJI drone camera and its remote controller worth approximately Rs50,000. Khare was asked to produce documents establishing his permission but allegedly could not do so.

The case is being investigated by police sub-inspector Shobha Teli. This follows a day after Vishrambaug police registered a first case against 15 people for alleged violations during the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) protest.
