RDA Orders Resolution of Issues in 6 Private Housing Schemes

Rawalpindi Commissioner and Rawalpindi Development Authority Director General Salman Ghani ordered officials on Friday to address unresolved issues in six private housing projects, in line with directives from the Lahore High Court. Ghani convened a meeting at the RDA office to assess the outstanding matters following the court's instructions.

Attending were owners, sponsors, legal representatives, and residents of the six housing schemes - Metro City Gujar Khan, Bahria Town, Mega City, Mumtaz City, The Avenue, and Top City. During the session, Ghani personally listened to each participant's concerns and reviewed the specific issues related to each housing project. He directed the RDA's legal officer to initiate legal action in accordance with the court's orders and ensure diligent follow-up to resolve the pending issues without delay.

The commissioner also tasked the RDA's chief planner to immediately and effectively address outstanding concerns and ensure timely action on complaints from affected residents. Ghani stressed that officials must resolve all matters promptly and strictly adhere to the high court's directives.
