Rajinikanth reveals the ‘missing element’ of Jailer 2: ‘A song with Tamannaah’

Rajinikanth, the renowned Indian actor, revealed during a promotional event for his upcoming film Jailer 2 that a missing element in the sequel is the presence of Tamannaah Bhatia. The actor, who has previously worked with Tamannaah in Jailer, expressed his desire for a song featuring the actress in Jailer 2. However, director Nelson Dilipkumar declined to include the song, stating that it couldn't be added merely due to Rajinikanth's preference.

Rajinikanth remained undeterred and clarified that his request was not about personal preference but rather about enhancing the film's appeal to audiences. Jailer 2, set to release on October 15, features Rajinikanth alongside a star-studded cast including S.J. Suryah, Vidya Balan, Mithun Chakraborty, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Nora Fatehi, who makes her Tamil debut with the special number Bindaas.
