The assistant coach of Flying Eagles, Abdullahi Biffo, has praised the officiating standard in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season, according to a report by Daily Post Nigeria. Biffo described the improvement as "fantastic" and a significant change from previous years, attributing it to the enhanced quality of officiating.
He noted that this improvement has fostered a more competitive environment among clubs, as securing an away win or draw now requires teams to perform at a higher level. Biffo also highlighted the diminishing perception of certain teams as easier opponents in the top flight, indicating a more evenly contested league.
