MB N Sembilan akan hadapi usul tidak percaya?

Umno Negeri Sembilan is contemplating a motion of no confidence against the State's Chief Minister, Ismail Lasim, according to sources. The rumor attributes the motion to Jalaluddin Alias, the leader of Umno Negeri Sembilan and the Adun Pertang. The final decision rests with the Umno central office, the source added to FMT. The formation of a new cabinet exco may also be announced if the move continues, he said.

FMT is trying to get comments from Jalaluddin on the matter. The State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting is scheduled for November 26, postponed from October 16 to coincide with the release of the State's 2027 budget on the following day. Speaker DUN Awaludin Said earlier confirmed that his side has not received any formal notice of the no-confidence motion against Ismail, emphasizing that he would not allow such a motion to go ahead.

Ismail assumed the Chief Minister's oath on August 2, following the PRN, during which the National Front coalition won 18 seats, Pakatan Harapan 11, and Perikatan Nasional securing seven seats. However, Ismail's administration is marred by a constitutional crisis stemming from his reported reluctance to resign from the Tuanku Muhriz throne on August 3.

He claims he was forced to sign the document and reported the incident to the police, which became public on September 8. On September 15, the State's exco released a statement claiming the April ouster of Tuanku Muhriz was valid, making Tunku Nadzaruddin Tuanku Ja’afar the new state government. Ismail subsequently endorsed the exco's statement and directed the state's administration to continue the proclamation process.

Tuanku Muhriz has since annulled the appointment of all 10 exco members, except Ismail. The 10 former exco members have now filed a legal challenge in court this week to contest the validity of their reinstatement.
