This Saturday, October 17, the Royal British Legion Spain South will launch its annual Poppy Appeal with a day of community spirit and remembrance in La Cala de Mijas. The day begins with a parade through the town streets, featuring veterans, scout groups, a marching band, and vintage cars. The procession will start at 1:45pm at Butibamba park and will move through the center towards the main square.
At 2:30pm, a commemorative act will take place near the watchtower, where local supporters can join to pay their respects.
