Japan PM Takaichi Reiterates Intention to Retain Scandal-Hit Agriculture Minister
Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi reiterated her intention on Friday to not dismiss Kazuo Yana, the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries minister. Yana is in a scandal over his remarks that he cut road budgets for local governments whose leaders did not support him in the House of Representatives election.
