I just watched Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds' 2012 action thriller on Netflix, and I still have questions
"Safe House" was a 2012 action thriller starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds that should have been a hit. But after streaming it on Netflix 14 years later, I still have questions.
Safe House (2012) holds a 2.5/5 rating with a verdict stating that it should have been a hit. The film stars experienced actors Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds, along with other talented supporting cast members. Despite possessing the ingredients for success, the movie is mostly bland, featuring a predictable script. While both Washington and Gleeson deliver solid performances, nothing in the movie sparks genuine excitement.
The film falls into the category of unthrilling thrillers, and while it may not be the worst movie seen by the reviewer, it is disappointing as it should have been a good movie given its potential. The movie was released on Netflix, making it easily accessible to watch.
