The recent 44-20 loss to Louisville has intensified questions surrounding Florida State's head coach Mike Norvell's future, as the team struggles with consistency and has not secured a road victory since November 2023. The Seminoles appeared to have control of the matchup, jumping out to a 14-0 lead, but fell apart in the second quarter, allowing Louisville to win the game.
With the loss, Florida State now sits at 3-3 overall and 1-2 in ACC play, with 11 consecutive road losses to their name. While Norvell still has an opportunity to improve his standing during the remainder of the season, another disappointing stretch could make it increasingly difficult for him to quiet his critics.
