Blackhawks’ Frank Nazar suspended 2 games for check to the head
The Chicago Blackhawks' Frank Nazar has been suspended for two games without pay by the NHL. The discipline came after Nazar delivered an illegal head check to New York Islanders' Bo Horvat during a game on Thursday night. The incident occurred with just 1:35 remaining in the Islanders' 4-1 home victory. As per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Nazar will forfeit $68,041 of his average annual salary following the suspension.
