Alfred Aboya joins Kentucky Basketball coaching staff after working for NBA Academy Africa
Kentucky makes a significant hire for its final assistant coach spot.
Alfred Aboya has joined Kentucky Basketball's coaching staff as the team's newest assistant coach, joining Mark Pope's team following his tenure as head coach of the NBA Academy Africa. Aboya's international experience and background in player development make him a valuable addition to Pope's coaching staff, as he has recently served as head coach of the NBA Academy Africa program in Senegal and previously worked as an assistant and player development coach for the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League.
Aboya's connection to Kentucky recruiting target Chreif Millogo, who is originally from West Africa, further solidifies his role as a significant hire for Pope's coaching staff.
