7 best new movies to stream this weekend on Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+, and more (October 10-11)
'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' a new Netflix thriller, Spielberg's 'Disclosure Day,' and more movie night hits just landed on streaming
This weekend offers a diverse range of movies to stream on various platforms. For Marvel fans, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is available for rental or purchase on video on demand platforms. This Spider-Man adventure may feel familiar to those who enjoyed Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it's a flashy and forgettable addition to the MCU.
For crime thriller enthusiasts, Netflix's Animals presents a tense kidnapping drama led by Ben Affleck. With Kerry Washington and Jessica Chastain in key roles, this film offers a gripping story of family drama and twists. Meanwhile, Paramount+'s It Follows provides a unique horror experience suitable for most audiences. Directed by David Lynch, It Follows follows a young woman cursed by an entity that hunts her down, forcing her to make terrifying choices.
Lastly, Stephen Spielberg's Disclosure Day is available on Peacock, a sci-fi mystery involving aliens and government conspiracies. While not Spielberg's best work, it still delivers solid performances and tense moments.
