The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced October 20 as the date for the inauguration of its Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections. The party's national chairman, Senator Moses Cleopas, made the announcement during a press briefing in Abuja, emphasizing the party's unity behind its presidential ticket.
Cleopas stated that the inauguration will take place during a meeting of the National Executive Committee, where key decisions on the party's preparations for the elections will be ratified. He also dismissed rumors of inactivity by the party and vowed to challenge any attempts to manipulate the electoral process before, during, and after the 2027 elections.
