Two Pakistani-owned teams are set to compete in the Italy T10 League, which will take place in Rome from November 18 to 29. The six-team tournament will feature the Quetta Gladiators, a franchise of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), representing Pakistan. Quetta Gladiators, owned by Nadeem Omar, will be renamed Rome Gladiators for the event.
Additionally, Mian Asif Nadeem, from Mian Channu, has acquired the ownership rights to Brescia Lions. Formal signing ceremonies have been held to solidify the franchise ownership agreements. Each team in the Italy T10 League will include local players along with four international cricketers. The Quetta Gladiators management hopes that participating in the tournament will provide emerging Pakistani cricketers with the chance to demonstrate their abilities on an international stage and further their careers.
Furthermore, the league is anticipated to offer players valuable overseas experience while promoting Pakistani cricket talent globally.
