YouTuber's Channel Permanently Banned Over Censored Hellraiser: Revival Gameplay Video

Content creator J0nathan's YouTube channel has been permanently banned due to a gameplay video featuring Hellraiser: Revival. Despite obscuring nudity with black boxes, YouTube deemed the explicit content a violation of their sex and nudity policy. J0nathan, who had 190,000 subscribers, claims he received no prior warnings or strikes and asserts that uncensored gameplay is available on other channels.

He had assumed that censoring explicit scenes would suffice, but YouTube disagreed. J0nathan has attempted to appeal the decision through YouTube's system, but artificial intelligence resolved his appeals, rendering his case unchanged. He fears losing both his primary channel and 10 years of hard work, as YouTube prohibits reinstatement of banned accounts.

J0nathan has reached out to fellow creators and the game developers but has not received assistance. Saber Interactive, the game's developer, had previously advised creators to label their content with appropriate age restrictions and sexual theme labels to avoid bans.
