WWE Legend John Cena Says He’s ‘Super Grateful’ for Drake Shoutout on ‘Quebec’: ‘You Never Know Who You’re Gonna Reach’
Once upon a time, Cena released a rap album.
WWE icon John Cena expressed his immense gratitude for being mentioned by Drake in his song "FOMO" on Thursday, October 8th. Cena, a 14-time WWE Champion, revealed that Drake praised him with the line, "Chrome belt, look like John Cena in here." The track originally premiered in Drake's FOMO short film in September and was released on Drake's HABIBTI (FOMO) deluxe album in October.
Cena, who had previously dabbled in rap during his WWE career, noted that he was "super grateful" to be included in Drake's work. He also highlighted the importance of how a well-known artist like Drake using his name can reach a wider audience. Cena, who has strong ties to hip-hop culture, previously released a rap album titled "You Can’t See Me" in 2005.
