Ukraine’s Ground Robots Rescued 45 Soldiers Under Fire, Commander Says
Ground robots operated by Ukraine’s Artan intelligence unit evacuated 45 Ukrainian soldiers from under enemy fire during the summer campaign. The platforms traversed a combined 4,258 kilometers (2,646 miles), delivered more than 41 tons of supplies and transported captured Russian troops. Zelensky previously set a target to procure 50,000 ground drones for the military in 2026.
