Including plenty of Halloween watches for horror fans and scaredy cats The post The 7 Best New Movies on Peacock in October appeared first on TheWrap .
As October rolls in, Peacock offers a curated selection of new movies to suit any mood, from horror to light-hearted fun. Among the best of these additions is Steven Spielberg's latest film "10 Cloverfield Lane," featuring John Goodman in a captivating performance. Goodman, known for his big and committed portrayals, shines in this taut thriller that keeps viewers guessing until the end.
Another must-watch is Wesley Snipes as Blade in the classic superhero flick. While not traditionally a horror movie, "Blade" carries a unique Halloween atmosphere and showcases Snipes' charismatic take on a vampire hunter. For those who prefer a more emotional experience, Spielberg's "Disclosure Day" is a standout. Although it may not be Spielberg's most acclaimed film, it remains one of the year's best with Emily Blunt delivering a career-best performance as a central figure in the story.
Finally, no Halloween movie roundup would be complete without David Cronenberg's "The Fly." This iconic horror film, with Jeff Goldblum as a scientist transformed into a human-fly hybrid, remains one of the greatest horror movies ever made. With its frightening imagery and powerful performances, it's a must-see for any fan of the genre.
