Singapore brothers Muhamad Khairul Anwar Mohd Rosli and Muhammad Redha Jamali, known as K2 Handymen, have launched a free home makeovers program for families in need. The brothers, both skilled in various home maintenance services, posted a TikTok video in August inviting the public to nominate families for assistance. Within a month, about 30 people contacted them to nominate themselves or other families for help.
The company has a strong presence on TikTok, showcasing their work on home improvement projects. For their first project, the brothers renovated the kitchen of Sariana Majid, a single mother of six, who works part-time and runs a small home-based kuih business. The renovation included installing new cabinets using existing furniture, providing a safer and more comfortable living environment for her family.
The brothers aim to help one or two homes each month, with a budget of up to S$1,500 (RM4,800) per home.
