The New Orleans Saints are preparing for a matchup against the undefeated Minnesota Vikings, and veteran defensive end Cameron Jordan wants absolutely nothing to do with the conversation surrounding Minnesota’s struggling offense. New Orleans Saints linebacker Cameron Jordan is sick of the focus on Minnesota Vikings' poor passing offense. The Vikings currently hold the worst passing offense in the NFL, despite being undefeated. However, Jordan thinks people are overlooking the one thing that truly matters - Minnesota's perfect 4-0 record. Jordan expressed his frustration with the emphasis on statistics rather than results when asked about Minnesota's struggles.
"I mean, they are 4-0," Jordan said. "I could care less about a ranking. What does that have to do with Sunday?" Jordan believes the priority should always be winning, not being more efficient in that win. While Minnesota's offense has been subpar, the team has compensated with a strong defense and special teams. Jordan's comments could be a wake-up call for Saints fans.
New Orleans cannot assume they have an advantage just because Minnesota's passing offense ranks poorly. The Vikings have shown they can overcome their limitations, and underestimating an undefeated opponent would be a major mistake.
