SA vs AUS Test series 2026: Full list of commentators and broadcast talent for Australia tour of South Africa

SuperSport has announced a comprehensive commentary team for Australia's upcoming Test series in South Africa. Former South African fast bowler Makhaya Ntini, who played 101 Tests and took 390 wickets, will lead the team. Other South Africans joining the panel include Hashim Amla, Shaun Pollock, and Vernon Philander. Australian veteran Simon Katich will offer an opposing viewpoint. The same group of commentators is expected to continue for the three Test matches, which will commence on October 9 at Kingsmead in Durban.

The series, which will be Australia's first full multi-format tour in South Africa since 2018, follows a significant rivalry marked by historical events such as the 1999 World Cup semifinal and the Newlands scandal in 2018. South Africa currently holds the World Test Championship title, having defeated Australia by five wickets in a Test match at Lord's in June 2025.

SuperSport's commentary team for the ODI series will also cover the Tests, providing insights from both sides of the rivalry. The broadcaster will deliver audio coverage on ABC Radio and the ABC Listen app for Australian listeners, with visual broadcasts available on Fox Sports and Kayo for those outside Australia.
