Robert Whittaker Predicts Charles Oliveira vs. Diego Lopes BMF

Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker has expressed his belief that Diego Lopes stands a good chance of winning the upcoming BMF fight against Charles Oliveira. The main event of UFC 335, scheduled for December 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, will see Oliveira defending his UFC BMF title. Despite Oliveira being the betting favorite, Whittaker thinks Lopes has a strong possibility of emerging victorious.

Speaking on "The MMArcade Podcast," Whittaker explained why he supports Lopes for the win. He praised the fight, especially for Lopes, and said he believes the Brazilian can overcome Oliveira's usual ground superiority. Whittaker pointed out that Lopes has a bottom offensive jiu-jitsu game that sets him apart from Max Holloway, who defeated Oliveira at UFC 326 using his ground game.

Whittaker highlighted that Lopes' strong, powerful physique and his willingness to engage in a slugfest if necessary give him an edge over Oliveira in a grappling battle.
