Revanth Reddy responds to Rahul Gandhi’s post to Elon Musk: ‘(We) cannot afford to weaken Brand India globally to appease crony distractions’

In response to Rahul Gandhi's post directed to Elon Musk on X, Telangana's Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his support and reaffirmed that Congress governments have always advocated for digitisation and modernisation of India. The successful creation of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and the adoption of mobile-based digital payment infrastructure were undertaken during the Congress-led UPA-2 government in 2012-13, which Reddy praised as a remarkable illustration of Indian innovation.

He went on to say that India should embrace innovative solutions in cutting-edge internet systems and cannot afford to undermine its global reputation by giving in to cronyism.
